THEIA
Lectures & Meetings

A series of speeches taught by senior researchers or world renowned scholars of various research fields. Each area is covered with just enough theoretical rigor to form a complete introduction to the subject. Although the collections stand alone, when taken in sequence they build upon each other to lay the foundation for an understanding of the transmission of the Graeco-Roman legacy to later ages and different linguistic areas.

THEIA
Bibliographical Guide

A Bibliographical Guide providing a survey of the studies on Themistius and treating over two thousand recent books and articles with full annotations. Each listing offers descriptive comments on the scholarly contribution of each source to Themistius’ literary outputs, with remarks on striking or controversial content, and cross-references that identify complementary studies and differing opinions.
